In this position, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the Quality Operations Laboratory in compliance with standard operating procedures, written test procedures, safety, and cGMP regulations. The incumbent will assist with day-to-day operational support of the QO laboratory, including routine, analyzing, reporting, and trending data for assays such as pH, characteristics, reconstitution, moisture (Karl Fischer), urea, and ELISA testing.


Education Minimum Requirement:


Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or other life sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology)

Required Experience and Skills: 

• Must be able to discriminate colors for characteristics tests or related assays.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, technical aptitude, and problem solving skills.
• Experience with serial dilution schemes and wet chemistry tests such as pH, characteristics, and UV spectroscopy.
• Must be flexible and able to manage multiple assigned tasks.
• Must have attention to detail and good documentation skills

Preferred Experience and Skills:


  A minimum of 3 years of related pharma/biotech industry experience is desired for this position
• Experience with ELISA testing
• Experience with cell culture maintenance and viral potency testing
• Experience working in a lean manufacturing or six sigma environment
• Ability to learn new methods and expand capabilities within the laboratory
