We are currently recruiting for a Director, Oncology Marketing - Gastrointestinal (US) for KEYTRUDA (pembrolizumab). KEYTRUDA will have multiple indications but this position will be focused on the indications in the GI space (Gastric, Esophageal, MSI-H/dMMR, etc.). The position will be based in Upper Gwynedd, PA and will report to the US Executive Director of Marketing. 

This position will require outstanding leadership in all areas of product management including:

  • Market assessment
  • Strategy development: e.g., product positioning, branding/promotion, thought leader engagement, scientific strategy, channel strategies, market access/ reimbursement, competitive dynamics, issues management
  • Forecasting and budgets
  • Resource prioritization
  • Launch execution

He/she will develop and execute business plans through marketing strategies, goals, and tactics; lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams; communicate and ensure buy-in from management; communicate and ensure flawless execution in the field; and build a diverse and effective team structure while recognizing, motivating and retaining talent.




Qualifications

Education:
  • Required: BA/BS
  • Preferred: MBA
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of (10) years Pharmaceutical business experience
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • At least 2 years market experience
  • Experience with collaboration, influencing without authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of Buy & Bill in oncology
  • Strategic thinking
  • Understanding of customer landscape in oncology market
  • Requires approximately 10-20 % travel, including some weekends.
 Preferred Experience:
  • Basis of knowledge in Marketplace Assessment, Development of Disease State and Product Strategy, Product Positioning, and Brand Marketing
  • Sales experience
  • Product/Indication Launch experience
  • Oncology marketing experience
