Position requires wearing scrubs at all times when working in the production area, working in a cleanroom setting and wearing cleanroom garments.
The job entails running steam sterilizers, filling lines, freeze dryers, environmental monitoring machines, crimping machine and a dry heat oven and preparing and cleaning equipment.


The position is a leadership role which requires giving direction and guidance to other technicians. Being responsible to ensure that the day to day activities are completed.

This position also requires entering data into the inventory control system, filling out required documentation, process improvement and good computer skills.

 

Some weekend and overtime work required. 



Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology or related field.

Required:

  •  At least 5 years of working in a lab or manufacturing of Biologics

Preferred:

  •  Lab experience including aseptic technique and working with freeze dryers.
