To meet accelerating growth, Camargo Pharmaceutical Services is now seeking a Pharmacokinetic Scientist to provide scientific leadership in designing studies and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) analysis. The ideal candidate has well-developed and demonstrable writing skills, understands strategic communications, and with the ability to “simplify the complex.” Strategic/critical thinking skills, as well as initiative, are a must for this role! Additional skills needed include a sense of urgency (milestone/timeline driven) and the ability to ask questions and probe further.

You might be a good fit if you have:

• Provided scientific expertise for the design, analysis, reporting, and presentation of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling and simulation data.
• Perform pharmacokinetic analysis, interpretation, and reporting of exposure data to support Camargo development programs. Perform simulation of drug-drug interactions for quantitative risk assessment. Address and resolve scientific issues arising in drug discovery/development programs.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, including global companies and sponsors.

Hands-on experience with PK analysis and PK/PD modeling using Phoenix WinNonlin, Simcyp, and/or NONMEM is a must.

Qualified candidates must have a PhD in Pharmacokinetics or related field or PharmD with 2-3 years of industry experience, demonstrated knowledge of PK software (Phoenix) used routinely (weekly basis), ability to work within budgeted time and quality parameters to meet milestone deliverables, prior project management experience, and PK experience within service industry (not academic). Prior experience with PK/Pharmacodynamic modeling, simulation and regulatory submissions including Modules 2.71 and 2.72 and clinical pharmacology labeling is preferred.

This position is based in Cincinnati or Durham office locations.
