The Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is seeking outstanding applicants for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Professor in the School of Pharmacy to build a world leading research program in translational precision medicine, health economics and policy, and innovative healthcare delivery.

Main duties of the position:

(a)    continuing with the applicant's extramurally funded research programme in an area that the applicant is known for his/her research internationally;
(b)    developing and leading a multidisciplinary research programme in translational precision medicine, health economics and policy, and innovative healthcare delivery;
(c)    teaching in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) and graduate programmes; and
(d)    providing service to the School, Faculty, University and the scientific discipline.


(i)    PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline;
(ii)    established investigator of international repute in one or more of the following research areas: health services and policy, clinical pharmacology, clinical pharmacometrics, pharmacovigilance, big data, and artificial intelligence;
(iii)    record of research funding and productivity as evidenced by high impact peer reviewed publications;
(iv)    leadership in developing and sustaining new research areas;
(v)    experience in team building and mentoring;
(vi)    evidence of collaborative interactions;
(vii)    excellent oral and written communication skills; and
(viii)    superb understanding of entrepreneurial activities.
