Sr. ASSOCIATE DIR., COPD/ASTHMA, CDMA

Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has multiple openings in Ridgefield, CT, for Sr. Associate Dir., COPD/Asthma, CDMA.

Contribute to med. product plan, support needs of non-med. internal partners for designated TA. Provide guidance to drug dev., clinical trial planning, execution & reporting, post-approval maintenance & optimization, & phase IV, Human Pharma Review Committee, CME grant provision, publication, & Med. & Tech. Info. Member of IIS review team. Provide input to National IIS studies. Support TA ED &/or Director in dev. & implementation of annual FBM scientific training plan. Provide clinical input/training across disciplines.

Must possess at least a master's or its equiv. in Life Science, Public Health or rltd fld & at least 8 yrs of prior work exp. as a Medical Research Associate and/or Medical Science Liaison. Must possess at least 1 yr of work exp. with: direct exp. & interactions w/physicians & patients in Hospital setting; direct exp. & interactions w/scientific experts in Respiratory medicine; advanced knowledge & understanding of statistical analyses of clinical trials, sample size calculation, study methodology & writing/reviewing scientific documents for FDA submissions; interpreting safety/efficacy data & complex published scientific literature; & planning implementing medical strategies by providing scientific data in support of product scientific platforms.
