The Experimental Pharmacology department is seeking a highly motivated Pharmacokineticist to join our efforts in developing innovative antibody-based therapies that improve outcomes for patients with cancer. The main focus will be preclinical, working with Research to evaluate novel drug-linkers and antibodies, and then helping to move development candidates through IND-enabling studies
All levels of experience will be considered and the title will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and accomplishments

Seattle Genetics has number of innovative technologies and projects - not only ADCs but many more. This position will tackle challenging and exciting questions while collaborating with colleagues from diverse disciplines and expertise. In addition, the Pharmacokineticist will have great opportunities to build hypotheses and solve problems in a flexible environment

  • Design, conduct, interpretation, and reporting of preclinical in vitro and in vivo pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and ADME studies
  • Manage outsourced studies and prepare related sections of documents for regulatory review
  • Represent the department on project teams
  • An advanced degree (PhD or PharmD) in a chemical, biological, pharmaceutical, or related field
  • An in depth knowledge of large and small molecule PK/ADME
  • Proficient with Phoenix/WinNonlin or equivalent software
  • Experience in working as DMPK representative in early stage biologics project teams to guide candidate selection, PK and PD study design, PK/PD and TK/TD modeling and human PK/dose prediction
  • Ability to identify key project related questions, build hypotheses and lead a team effort in solving problems
  • A proven track record of working effectively in a dynamic, collaborative, team-oriented setting
  • Desired: Experience with contribution to INDs and other regulatory submissions
