The Market Research Senior Specialist will be part of the Consumer market research team supporting Keytruda promotion to consumers.  We are looking for a sharp and ambitious person to join our highly collaborative team. Under guidance from the market research manager, this person will plan, manage, and analyze oncology market research that spans multiple indications with primary focus on Lung, in both pre-launch and post-launch settings. 


This position requires an understanding of primary market research methodologies and secondary data sets with an interest in the digital consumer. 2-3 years of past marketing commercial roles (sales, marketing, market research, promotions) is required.  Experience in oncology or other specialty therapies is preferred.


This individual is expected to be an exceptional team player who can comfortably interact with and add value to the existing team of multiple market research team members (for both physician and consumer) working on Keytruda and who also can comfortably partner with extended oncology team members including marketing, promotions, commercial analytics and centers of excellence. The individual should also be able to pro-actively identify business opportunities for both Keytruda and the Oncology Franchise.  


The individual must be a naturally curious and collaborative person who thrives working with others. The person will have demonstrated consistently strong leadership skills with an ability to self-start in a rapidly changing environment with a transformational mindset, cultural awareness, and resiliency to change that enables them to effectively produce results for individual areas of responsibility.  


Primary activities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Under the guidance of the market research manager, manages an assigned portion of the consumer market research studies and timelines for all aspects of Keytruda Consumer with a strategic mindset. 
  • Understands how to turn the consumer’s voice and data into actionable findings for internal business groups that can push the business forward
  • Knows how to design a research project that meets the need of the business question and can identify which methodology best serves that purpose
  • A compelling storyteller who is able to socialize the key research findings across different teams to ensure everyone truly understands the world of our consumer
  • Manages all aspects of regular reports and gain deep understanding of changes in awareness, behaviors, social media listening based on marketing efforts
  • Holds market research agencies accountable to deliver strategic business insights and most importantly, work in a compliant manner
  • Seeks out alternative/creative ways of meeting an information need, considering new techniques to address business challenges.
  • Has knowledge of and baseline understanding of consumer digital analytics such as Google Analytics
  • Stays up-to-date on consumer digital trends to inform insights, and future market research that may be needed
  • Working with the market research manager, facilitates discussion with Marketing/Commercial Teams to ensure that market research insights are pulled-through in decision-making and planning; 
  • Manages competing priorities and demands from within a product team/franchise applying best practices and innovative techniques maximize value and actionable output.  
  • Work on and lead adhoc franchise wide initiatives and/or projects as needed.




Qualifications

Education: 

  • Required: Bachelors
  • Preferred: MBA in Marketing

Required :  

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the Healthcare industry across any division like Marketing, Sales, Market Research.
  • 10% Travel
