The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at The University of Kansas (http://www.pharmchem.ku.edu) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level starting the 2021-2022 academic year. The successful candidate should research interests in the design, delivery, biophysical characterization and/or analysis of vaccines, therapeutic biologics or therapeutic proteins. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent, externally funded research program that includes multidisciplinary collaborations and to participate in teaching activities in the School of Pharmacy's professional program and the in the Department's graduate program. 1. A Doctorate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline such as e.g., Chemistry Biochemistry, Molecular Biosciences, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or Bioengineering. 2. Demonstrated research interests in the design, delivery, biophysical characterization and/or analysis of vaccines, therapeutic biologics or therapeutic proteins. Communication of interest or future interest in innovation and entrepreneurship. 3. Strong commitment to the maintenance of excellence in undergraduate and graduate education. 4.
