The drug delivery research team under the leadership of Dr. Giovanni M. Pauletti is seeking a highly motivated senior postdoctoral research associate with experience in formulation design and development. Dr. Pauletti's lab works closely with The Center for Clinical Pharmacology, a research partnership between Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO and University of Health Sciences in St. Louis. The successful candidate will participate in collaborative, NIH- and FDA-funded industry/academia research efforts aimed at creating and testing novel drug delivery systems.
Recent PhD graduates with relevant research experience after PhD and a strong background in pharmaceutics or biomedical engineering are strongly encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in polymer formulation development/assessment relevant to mucosal drug delivery, LC-MS/MS analysis, in vitro cell culture techniques, and in vivo pharmacokinetics.
