The Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences provides didactic instruction to Doctoral Pharmacy students.  In addition to academic responsibilities, this faculty member is expected to assist in the professional and spiritual growth of pharmacy students.  Part of the academic responsibility is to engage in research and scholarly activity, to participate as an active member of assigned school or university committees, and to serve as faculty advisor to a group of pharmacy students.

• Provides didactic instruction within assigned courses.
• Integrates faith and professional values into instructional activities where applicable.
• Serves as an advisor to Pharm.D. students as assigned.
• Conducts research and/or scholarly activity associated with the pharmaceutical sciences that is either published or presented following peer review.
• Participates actively in professional organizations associated with his/her discipline.
• Serves as a role model of professional, servant leader behavior to students.
• Serves on task forces and committees as assigned.
• Participates in other duties as assigned in service to the school or university.
• Assists with faculty recruitment and student applicant interviews.
• Attends faculty meetings, faculty development programs and other school functions as assigned.
