The primary purpose of this individual contributor position is the development of marketing strategies, tools and tactics to drive growth, profitability, predictability for assigned market segments and product/portfolio/or products. Provides leadership for a specific area of responsibility within marketing to accomplish strategic and tactical business objectives.   Accountabilities include supporting the manager/director in executing strategy and tactics, business planning process, cycle and business review meetings, resource management, and developing business area knowledge.  Works with local departments and Global to manage and support programs to ensure success of the portfolio in the market including the development of all elements of the market mix. Effectively work within a cross functional team to inspire and influence above authority.  May develop all marketing deliverables for product commercialization and lead development of product labeling required for development, and US launches. Responsible for developing implementing and managing marketing campaigns that promote a company and its products and/or services.  Plays a major role in enhancing brand awareness and loyalty utilizing all marketing channels. Develops and executes strategy, tactics, and programs to drive uptake of the current portfolio in the market. Responsible for development of the overall value prop of their assigned portfolio / responsibility and executing this strategy in the market via multi-channel campaigns, including digital.  Responsible for the commercialization of new products into the market, including development and execution of launch plan and field / multi-channel rollout Responsible for development of product messaging and communication via all marketing channels.  Serves as a key point of contact for sales collateral, competitive positioning and customer engagement during the customer lifecycle.

Specialized and in-depth comprehensive knowledge and experience in a particular field, or business area.  Duties are varied and complex often involving research, analysis and solution development.  Provides direction on issues of area of expertise and assist department leadership in setting strategic direction.    Requires the regular use of originality and ingenuity.  Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of a particular field or business function.  Is the subject matter expert.  Plans, conducts and oversees work involving the largest and most important/complex projects.  Does not supervise but provides direction to team on projects and assignments. Works with minimum supervision. Reviews progress with management. 

Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

The Marketing Manager â Integration Solutions will be:

  • Responsible for development of systematic processes for marketing to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team.  Examples include Launch process, Market impact analysis, etc.).
  • Responsible for leading cross marketing initiatives (i.e. segmentation).
  • Responsible for development of world class marketing SOPs and process for assigned projects.
  • Responsible for partnering with commercial education on training / education of the marketing team on these new processes/approaches.
  • Serve as a consultant to the marketing team as the team operates with the new tools / processes that have been created.
  • Examples of projects could include (but are not limited to) -  Market KPIs, Net Promoter Score, Segmentation, Launch Excellence, ROI ,Business Planning, digital engagement, marketing calendar, marketing plan, etc.
  • Manages resources and budget to target for all assigned programs with proactive communication on issues and opportunities.
  • Advises and manages stakeholders by reporting on special projects, business challenges and opportunities to senior management.  
  • Instilling leadership through others by acting as a role model to drive impactful business solutions and positive change, encouraging, motivating and empowering others and helping others to success.
  • Develops business area mastery to include understanding of market segments, business model, analysis of key metrics that define success, forecasting sales and product, share performance, trends, competition, customer critical success factors and needs through interaction with customers for integration with programs.
  • Assesses new market opportunities in collaboration with management.  May lead the development of business case and present to senior management.  Executes on approved marketing strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelorâs degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 5 years of marketing, business, sales or related business experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Ability to travel as dictated by business need.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Regulatory and compliance awareness (e.g. USDA, ISO 9000, CLIA, FDA, GMP), ISO 9000, CLIA, FDA, GMP)
