Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Position Overview The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Texas Southern University is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in Medicinal Chemistry to join an active research program in drug discovery in the RCMI center funded by NIH. Research Focus - Medicinal chemistry and drug design - Organic synthesis of bioactive compounds - Structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies - ADME-oriented compound optimization Candidate Requirements - PhD in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or related field - 1–3 years of relevant research experience preferred - 1–2 first-author publications in medicinal chemistry or related journals - Strong background in organic synthesis and compound characterization - Ability to work independently and in a collaborative research environment Salary Competitive salary range: $55,000 – $70,000 per year Additional benefits according to university policy Application / Contact Dr. Song Gao song.gao@tsu.edu
